Shoestrings Backpackers

If you are looking for a lively lodge close to town and at a reasonable cost, then Shoestrings Backpackers is the place to stay. Shoestrings Backpackers is just a short walk from the centre of the town and only 20 minutes from Victoria Falls. After enjoying shopping, sight-seeing or one of the many adventures on offer in Vic Falls, kick back and relax in the garden area or take a dip in the swimming pool. The bar is a place for parties and is open until midnight each night.

Shoestrings Backpackers has a garden, a swimming pool and a bar. There is a self-catering kitchen; or for those who prefer not to cook, the restaurant and pizzeria on-site offers great meals.

The lodge has DSTV, Internet access, a small curio market and bead shop, and 24 hour security service.

 

Late check out policy:

Late check-outs are possible, subject to availability of rooms.

Policy on children staying with parents:
Children are welcome.

- Children less than 2 years old: Free of charge

- Children 3 - 10 years old: Half rate

- Children 11 years old and above: Full rate

Cancellation Policy:

The cancellation policy is as follows:

- guests need to pay 10% deposit to confirm bookings

- cancellations more than 30 days before travel result in loss of deposit

- cancellations within 30 days of travel are charged 25% cancellation fee

- cancellations within seven days of travel are charged 50% cancellation fee

- cancellations within 24 hours of travel and no-shows are charged 100% cancellation fee.

Other disclosures:

It would be nice if guests are fond of animals as the lodge has dogs, cats and pigs.
