Livingstone Island Morning Breezer

Livingstone Island is set on the very precipice of the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River races past cascading 103m into the gorge below, setting the scene for probably the most exhilarating spot you'll ever enjoy a picnic!

David Livingstone, missionary and explorer, viewed Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that thunders) from the island on the 16th November 1855, taken there by the local tribesmen, he later named the Falls after his Queen Victoria.

Livingstone Island is part of a world heritage site, situated on the western side of the Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world; learn more about the geology and history of the surrounding area and the flora and fauna from your guide. During the low water season guests are guided to the edge of the Falls to swim in a rock pool just a metre or so from the cliff edge, just imagine how awesome that is, absolutely breathtaking!
