Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River overlooking riverine channels and Islands. Nearby flood plains of the Zambezi are home to many species of bird and wildlife and the fishing is great too!
Thatched lodges are individually decorated with subtle African tones, their spacious verandas overlook lawns and river scenery. Relax in your hammock, watching Impala graze and browse in the surrounding bush; hippo and elephant are regular feeders on the lawn and Acacia trees too within the lodge grounds; the water hole provides an idyllic spot for the elephant to slurp away.
Delicious meals are served Al fresco under the shade of trees, or in the open fronted dining room. After dinner, drinks are enjoyed around the campfire, sounds of the African bush and starlit skies provide a magical ambiance.
Facilities & Services
Game drives and river cruises are all included in the rate. Game walks and fishing excursions for the renowned Tiger fish can be booked separately. Drinks are served from the main bar and a swimming pool overlooking the river and watering hole offers a place to cool off on hot African days.

Late check-outs are possible, subject to availability of rooms.
Children policy:
Children under 7 years of age are not permitted at the lodge except by prior arrangement or part of a group, booking out the entire lodge.
Children aged 7 - 12 years pay 50% of adult price.

Due to its remote location, credit cards are not accepted at Imbabala Lodge.
Please pre-book a transfer to the lodge when making your accommodation booking as these are not included in the rate. Transfers can be arranged from Victoria Falls Airport, Vic Falls Town, and from Kasane, Botswana.
The cancellation policy is as follows:
- Guests need to pay 20% deposit to confirm bookings
- Cancellations more than 30 days before travel result in loss of deposit
- Cancellations within 30 days of travel are charged 45% cancellation fee
- Cancellations within seven days of travel are charged 75% cancellation fee
- Cancellations within 24 hours of travel and no-shows are charged 100% cancellation fee
