Flying Fox
A great activity for everyone combining the thrill of a high wire adventure and the awesome scenery of the steep sided Batoka Gorge. Fitted with a safety harness you will be connected to a steel wire which runs across the full expanse of the gorge from cliff top to cliff top, 111 metres high. Facing downwards you will be eased outwards over the gorge some 120ms towards the other side, enjoy the scenery as you sail out before being gently drawn backwards to your starting point.
Guests are collected from their hotel or lodge within Victoria Falls, transferred to the Batoka Gorge. Following a safety brief you will be fitted with your safety harness and then guided to the starting point of your high wire adventure.
After completion of the Flying fox you will be transferred back to your hotel or lodge.
Participant guidelines
Please wear comfortable clothing, shorts or trousers recommended.
"The Look Out" reception area offers a pleasing view and has a gift shop selling various souvenirs, rafting shorts, t-shirts and drinks. Please remember to take cash with you for purchasing any of these products.
A DVD and photo CD of your adventure will be available for purchase afterwards.
