A' Zambezi River Lodge
Sustainability
"I love my job, because meeting visitors every day makes it so interesting".
Kimpton was born in Rusape, Zimbabwe. Encouraged to move to Vic Falls by family members to seek work, he joined the A'Zambezi and began here as a kitchen porter. Through years of hard working and dedication, he has been promoted over the years and is now the smiling face that welcomes you with a chilled sweet cocktail as you arrive at the A'Zambezi.

Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
A' Zambezi is committed to the continual support of the Victoria Falls Hospital; in particular, the children's ward. The lodge had provided a refurbishment of the ward with a fresh coat of paint, curtains, matching bed linen, lighting, and regularly supply food items to the hospital. After initializing their support of the ward, they continue to reassess the needs of the hospital and further supply items on request such as cleaning materials.
Furthering their support of the community, A'Zambezi River Lodge are regular contributors to the Majors Christmas Cheer Fund, Aids and HIV Awareness Campaign, as well as supporting the local schools.
